What does a Tripletex integration cost?

The price is set after scoping. It depends on which systems are connected and how large the integration is. You get the price before anything starts.

Do we have to change accounting system?

No. You keep Tripletex and the other systems you use. The integration is built between them.

Which systems can be connected to Tripletex?

Systems with an open API can be connected to Tripletex, for example a CRM such as Pipedrive, a web shop and time tracking. We clarify which systems fit during scoping.

Who owns the integration and the data?

The data is always yours. The solutions we build are licensed to you for as long as the agreement runs, and you can buy them out. When we part ways, you get the data exported and the documentation handed over.

What happens when Tripletex changes its API?

With AI Partner, AIKI runs and develops the integration and adapts it when Tripletex or another system changes its API.

Can AI post entries on its own?

AI prepares suggestions for coding, reconciliation and invoice drafts. A human approves what is posted.

What is Tripletex MCP?

Tripletex MCP is Tripletex's own MCP server, in beta. It lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT perform actions in Tripletex, for example registering hours, creating orders and updating customers, with the same permissions as the user.

Reconciling open items

The integration can compare open items against bank transactions and other sources, and suggest matches that a human confirms.

Consistent customer and project data

Customers, projects and contacts can be kept consistent between Tripletex, the CRM and other systems, so each piece of data has one place to be corrected.

Alerts on deviations

When figures, amounts or status differ between two systems, the integration can alert the right person with an explanation of what deviates.

A human approves what is posted. AI prepares suggestions and groundwork, and responsibility for the accounts stays with you.

Tripletex MCP: Claude and ChatGPT Right in Tripletex

Tripletex MCP is Tripletex's own MCP server, hosted by Tripletex at mcp.tripletex.no. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external systems and perform actions, in addition to answering questions. The service is in beta and free during the beta, and Tripletex will introduce a monthly fee before general release.

Tripletex MCP works with Claude (claude.ai on web and desktop, and Claude Code), ChatGPT (Developer Mode on Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise) and other MCP clients.

What AI can do in Tripletex today

The feature set is limited during the beta.

An administrator first activates the Tripletex MCP service in Tripletex, under the subscription settings. Then each user connects their AI tool and logs in with OAuth. The AI never sees the password and gets the same permissions as the user. On Claude Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector first.

Data passes through the AI platform. When you handle financial data, Tripletex recommends a business plan with the AI provider, with no training on data and a data processing agreement. Responsibility for the accounts stays with you, so review what the AI does before you confirm actions that send, post or modify.
